Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel, and jazz into his signature style. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs Avery Sunshine has been a hit across the globe. Sunshine's name is Denise White. While she is a resident of Atlanta but she is from Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing as well as playing the piano at church. She studied at Spellman College and began to master the R&B style of Atlanta. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award-winning performer) approached her for the position of director of the choral section of Dreamgirls in Atlanta during the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for America during the daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
